Management can be more wide-ranging than it seems to be, especially in an environment of increasing regulation and constraints. This module leads delegates to identify and think about the breadth and depth of what 'being a manager' actually means, who our stakeholders are and how we arrive at our purpose and objectives.
By highlighting and considering a range of organisational structures, what resources each manager has at their disposal and the range of people we need to interact with to get the job done effectively, we encourage each other to recognise our own strengths and to think about which are the areas we honestly feel we'd like to understand and do better in.
From there, we take the first steps in a conscious decision to self-develop and become a more accomplished manager.
