We all know we won't get much done without other people; and people need to understand what we want if they are to help us achieve our goals. In this module we address listening skills, making assumptions, rapport and clarity. We also explore barriers to effective communications, from poor positioning, reluctance, environmental and cultural perspectives. After you participate in this module, you will be absolutely clear about the merits of effective communication, and will be armed with a significant number of practical skills, which together will make you a more effective communicator and enable you to pass on and apply what you learn when you get back to work.
